MaineCare is required to protect your health information. We also need to tell you how we use and share that information.
We’ve recently updated our Notice of Privacy Practices which can be found on the MaineCare webpage. It is available as a PDF and in 5 different languages on the same webpage. This notice explains how your medical information may be used and how you can see or get a copy of it.
You do not need to do anything right now.
You can ask for a copy of this notice at any time, either on paper or electronically. All members will also get a copy in the mail by November 2026.
