Farmer's Markets by County
Helpful Tip: Farm, farm store, and farmers’ market hours may change. It is a good idea to call ahead or visit their website before visiting!
When?
The Maine Senior FarmShare Program will begin eEnrollment though our website starting on April 1 for participants who want to shop with their senior farm shares directly at a farm. In-person farmers’ market enrollment will begin during the first week of June at participating farmers’ markets.
How?
Applicants who want to shop with their senior farm shares directly at farms should plan to use the new eEnrollment application process. The application includes a menu with all of the participating farms listed by county so that applicants can choose the farm where they would like to participate. An applicant may select any farm that participates in the Maine Senior FarmShare Program, regardless of which county they live in.
Applicants who want to shop with their senior farm shares at farmers’ markets must sign up at the Information Booth at the participating farmers' markets of their choice. The eEnrollment system does not apply to applicants who wish to shop at farmers’ markets.

The Proxy Designation Form must be signed before the proxy performs any actions on the applicant or participant's behalf. These authorized representatives, or proxies, can do the following for participants at any point during the season:

- Shop at the participant’s chosen farm or farmers’ market
- Pick up eligible foods from a participating farmer or authorized agent
- Receive deliveries
A proxy can be a relative, friend, neighbor, senior housing facility staff or caseworker.
The Proxy Form must be emailed to seniorfarmshare.agr@maine.gov or mailed to: Maine Senior FarmShare Program 28 State House Station Augusta, ME 04443
