Small Mammal

Gray Fox

Clever, curious, climb-y

Home Sweet Home

Foxes are abundant in southern and midcoast Maine and are expanding north. They like deciduous forests, but they’re just as comfortable on the outskirts of towns and neighborhoods.

Foxing Around

Did you know that foxes are excellent tree climbers? They often post up in hollow trees, logs, brush and are known to enjoy a rock crevice or two. Sometimes these bougie mammals have multiple homes. They typically mate for life, which is very cute.
