This 4-hour instructor-led virtual course introduces participants to the purpose and operation of a local Emergency Operations Center (EOC). Participants learn how EOCs support coordinated decision-making and apply best practices for activation, operations, and demobilization. Through interactive, scenario-based breakout exercises centered on a large planned event, participants analyze information, develop operational plans, manage resources, and prepare leadership briefings, addressing EOC activities from early preparation through event coordination and closure.
